For better or for worse. My kid cannot stay away from the program which he think is just plain fun! It may not make him a fluent French speaker, but sure get him started.[keyword]learn+french+translation[/keyword][yahooquestion]learn+french+translation[/yahooquestion]

It might be like the way a literal translation of French doesn't mean much, but is taken to another level in its connotation in English. Like, Je ne sais quoi. “I don't know what” is not much but in English is taken to mean the quintessential or something ineffable. There is that expression,”run it up the flagpole and see who salutes”. And Mae West famously said, “Is that a pistol in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me?” I think most people have no idea what their t-shirts mean. “I love the world”?– I don't think so. Hello, t-shirt woman — you love the world; well, how about me?. “no, of course not, you're a creep, bum, etc.” The t-shirts are about fantasy worlds not about the actual world.

As a fluent French speaker, I really don’t know what you’re talking about. There are a lot of amazing rap and hip-hop artists who are well known outside of French borders. It’s probably the European country with the strongest rap culture (with Germany a not so distant second).
