I spend up to 6 weeks at a time in France every other year. I find this series of lessons very helpful, since I rarely get a chance to speak French in between these trips. It refreshes my memory and vocabulary to listen to it every time I drive for several months before my trips. Well, my time in France is mainly spent in the Charente not the Vendee.
However, the time I've spent in Nantes, I've noticed and spoken to people more about seperatism for Brittany than the events of '68.
But that's just my experience. My grandad was virulently anti-left and my grandmother is quote unquote anti-tout!

Ditto Bionic's ugh. CD 1 sucks, even if you're expecting it.
We took a bit of a scheduled break from TTC and it's mostly been really great. There's definitely something liberating about knowing that you're not trying, and of course you can always change your mind later.
Oh, and for what it's worth, having straight priorities is overrated I think
I’m afraid that you’re missing the point. Let’s take a seat like for instance. Do you really think that only 5.1% of people there are Labour voters? I would imagine that the majority of Labour voters are having to vote tactically in order to keep the party they dislike the most out of power. The point of AV is that this would allow those Labour voters to vote Labour as 1 and then compromise with a 2nd vote rather than vote tactically. Meanwhile the [BNP are against so I’m not exactly sure what kind of voice they would get from it.
Slow paced, beautiful countryside, basically I rest in totality when I'm there. I am at peace in Portadown.
