A bit cheesy..but aren’t all language videos? It has a proper amount of pacing so that the language is easy to pick up. Easy to watch multiple times (well, loads easier than watching BARNEY videos anyway). [keyword]learn+english+french[/keyword][yahooquestion]learn+english+french[/yahooquestion]

Do you really think that US and the rest of the world want to stop the genocide? Does it have to take them 6 years or more to react or find the right solutions? When American have interest in something they act immediately upon it without second thought. In 1998 when they were suspicious of Sudan supporting al-kaida in the attack of their embassies, they bombed drug factory in Khartum in a meter of seconds, now at a sudden Bashir became the powerful man on earth that no one can catch.

I worked at a dental office a few years ago. One of our patients brought her grandson to us. He was severely autistic, and was in extreme pain. He hadn’t been to the dentist in years and they weren’t sure how he would handle it. First, we brought him in the office for a tour and to sit in the chair, then we brought him back to try and do an exam. He was good for the x-rays, but he couldn’t handle the oral exam and started freaking out. Our dentist realized we wouldn’t be able to work on him, and said he probably needed to be sedated to be worked on, but from the little we had seen, his mouth was in dire shape. He was probably looking at complete extractions and full dentures at 19. I was the receptionist, and I was in charge of getting him referred somewhere. I called the office where we normally referred our cases, and they wouldn’t take him for sedation because he was an adult. I called a few of our backups, I called the university dental clinic, and the hospital dental clinic. Because of his age, and despite his disability, nobody would take him. They would do sedation on an 18-year old, but him being 19 somehow made a huge difference. I spent two weeks calling every oral surgeon I could find in the directory of dentists. I called each one multiple times, until I finally got one “maybe.” I hammered that office until they agreed to take the boy. I didn’t get an elaborate present, but when I called the boy’s grandma to let her know we’d found an office that would see her grandson, she cried and thanked me over and over for going the distance instead of giving up. Felt better than any gift, I think.
