learn french software learning french online Free Assistive Info

I had to learn french for professional reasons, and surfed the web looking for self-teaching software. Fluenz french was the best product I found. I liked the pace at which it proceeds, I like the simulation of classroom instruction, and I like the structure of the drills. I found it a bit slow at first, but now that I am into it, I’m starting to get a grasp on the structure of french.

I should say, too, that the software is very well organized, and very easy to use. When I had a problem at one point, the user support group was very responsive and very helpful.

This is my first choice for a self-teaching language program. I am starting to supplement it with reading, in particular the easy french reader, and am thinking of doing something else to add to my vocabulary, but this is my core program.[keyword]learning+french+online[/keyword][yahooquestion]learning+french+online[/yahooquestion]

I agree. If they can insist that teachers differentiate classroom instruction, then they can learn to differentiate the professional development offered to staff. If they can tell teachers that they have to use a particular model of instruction, like LFS, then they could adapt professioanl development to actually model what they are telling teachers to do.

If they were popular you wouldn’t have to ask. :) I liked ‘The Pattern on the Stone’ by Danny Hillis. A lot of people seem to like ‘Code’ by Charles Petzold. And ‘Alice in Wonderland’ is a perennial favorite of Jerry Weinberg for teaching software engineering and organzational behavior.

Windows Live Messenger has a ton of features but you're forgetting one thing. It is a PAIN IN THE ASS to get it to work! Video calls? I've tried for 2 days to get this thing to work before I gave up. Yahoo Instant Messenger may be a little primitive-looking in comparison, but everything WORKS! There are no bugs, there are no connection issues, and every message I send gets received! How can you gush about a bunch of stupid “features” when the core program is a piece of junk? Give me YIM over WLM every time! It may not be pretty but it works and file transfers are so much faster!
