Why The Priest Fainted: An Ode To Eggplant
This fruit commonly used as vegetable is perhaps less loved in the U.S. than in India and the Mideast, where food writer Monica Bhide grew up. But after years of presenting different renditions to American friends and family, she’s found ways to woo the eggplant skeptics — including these spice-laden recipes and tips.

I think you did a great job answering Q #8, about blogging with kids. Cindi should keep in mind you have a larger audience than the majority of bloggers out there. MUCH larger.
Cindi's viewership would most likely be limited to her friends and family. A free blogging site, like multiply.com will allow her to restrict her viewers to approved friends and family who have signed up with multiply, or have been specifically invited to view.

Agreed with Zim, but not just because I’ve *never* had to tinker with my machine and because I’ve never had to be the tech support for my friends who use them (even though I do have to help out my friends and family who use Windows).

Nicolette, welcome to Texas! I've only been here three years myself. But my husband is Texan through and through, so it balances out.

There are a bunch of great Austin food blogs. Some of them are listed in my Blogroll. There are TONS listed on the Statesman's website on the page for food writer Addie Broyles. Her blog is Relish Austin, and her blogroll is *extensive*. :-)

And thanks for the nice words about my blog! Let me know how the cooking goes!

Hey :) ,

You are back home by now. I hope you enjoyed Bulgaria and that you will return one day to visit. :) Just wondering if you took any of the trips that I suggested? I have to plan some trips for my American friends that are coming to visit Bulgaria and I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on what places and things you enjoyed the most so I can plan accordingly. I LOVE the whole of Bulgaria so my judgment is a little biased.

Thanks,

Gerry

Bush didn't pull it off by himself. He had the US Government, The CIA, The FBI and numerous others behind him. There is actual documentation supporting this. But don't take my word for it, do your own research.

Are you the Dan Dick I met when I became an exchange student to Germany through ICYE in 1961? That Dan Dick has been an inspiration to me throughout my life. I came to live with a German family that spent much of WW II in concentration camps for helping their Jewish neighbors. I became a conscientious objector and work for the American Friends Service Committee for my alternative service. I like what I have read on this site — even if you are a different Dan Dick.
