(Here in the normal world where we learn English as a second language from american tv-series, 'pissed' means mad, not drunk.)

Re. learning Mandarin: Only if Pettis & Shih's fears – re. China repeating Japan's experience – prove false. Many laud China's stimulus, but I wonder if they're (basically) repeating America's experience with the housing bubble: i.e., propping up economic growth via debt-funded investment in ultimately-unproductive sectors (housing for the US; export industries for China).

Carlos, I just want to thank you so very much for providing such pleasure for my family. Due to having some developmental disabilities, I homeschool my 8yo daughter. She and I have spent a lot of time watching the owls, both live and on the recorded videos. It has been a great learning experience for both of us! We are very grateful to you and your wife for allowing us into your back yard.
